Dalai Lama’s second Japan visit of 2016 to take place in November

DHARAMSHALA, July 14: The Tibetan leader currently in Rewlsar for two day teaching is scheduled to visit Japan for the second time this year, according to the website of the Liaison Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (Tibet House-Japan) in Tokyo.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give a public talk on November 14, 2016 at the National Convention Hall of Yokohama in the city of Yokohama on the topic “Compassion – The Key to Happiness”.

The 81 year old Tibetan leader’s November visit will incidentally be his 23rd visit to the island nation as well as being the first country he visited since coming into exile.

The public talk is organized by the Tibet House-Japan and assisted by ‘His Holiness Guyasamaja Initiation Welcome committee’, Shuchiin University, Osaka Seifu High School, All Yong Monks Tantric Association and NPO Samaya Project21.

Earlier in May this year, the Dalai Lama visited various Japanese cities on a four day tour.
