Sonam Dorjee, Dharamshala Tibetan settlement officer speaking to Phayul confirmed, “The girl has identified all three culprits in front of the Session Court Judge.”

The vigil, attended by thousands of Tibetans, began from town’s main square to the spot where Tsultrim Chokden (29) was stabbed by three assailants. The vigil continued till Tsugla Khang main temple.

“The SP office and the SHO have been really helpful and cooperative with us and have assured us that the girl (prime witness) will be given police protection for the next 24 hours,” one of the vigil organizers said.

She said there will be another vigil on Tuesday to express solidarity with the deceased and seek justice for the victim.
