DHARAMSHALA, February 6: Tibetan health minister Dr. Tsering Wangchuk today inaugurated the new private out patient department that will provide health plan services, a package of preventive health check at Delek Hospital.
Also present at the modest ceremony were by Shosur Sonam Choephel, Secretary of Department of Health, Tibetan Government in Exile; Dr. Tseten Sadutsang, Chief Medical Officer at Delek Hospital and Dawa Phunkyi, Chief Administrator at Delek Hospital.
Health minister Tsering Wangchuk congratulated the hospital for its new venture.
The new Health Plan services include General Health Check up for Rs. 2000, Comprehensive Health Check up for Rs. 2500 for men and women of all ages.
“It is important to spread awareness among the public to do regular check up to prevent diseases,” said Dr Tseten. “Although not all diseases can be prevented but most of the diseases can be.”
