New Delhi, April 3: Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is most excited after meeting the exiled Tibetan leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama at an inter-faith conference at Rishikesh Saturday.
“So honoured and excited to meet and receive grace and blessings of so many spiritual leaders of all religions! Most excited about meeting His Highness Dalai Lama!” Vivek posted on his Twitter page.
“Am in the midst of pure divinity by the banks of the holy Ganga, basking in the infectious laughter of HH Dalai lama, blessings of Morari Bapu, the august presence of Baba Ramdev and hundreds of saints from all religions coming together for the root of all religions – love and peace,” the actor added.
The actor was reportedly in New Delhi early morning before he drove to Rishikesh for the inter-faith conference, where all religious and spiritual leaders have come together to promote peace.
“As you are talking of Buddhist karma…I’m mega excited to meet guess who today??? HH Dalai Lama!!! Can’t wait! Am at the interfaith conference,” the 33-year-old actor tweeted on his page.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Dharamsala, his exile hometown in north India, for Haridwar and Rishikesh earlier this morning to take part in a series of spiritual programs being organised by Parmarth Niketan, an ashram in Rishikesh, during the ongoing Maha Kumbh mela.
Among other things, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will bless the landmark publication ‘Encyclopedia of Hinduism’, which took more than 15 years for compilation.
“Hats off to Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Inter-Faith organisation for bringing together leaders from Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, Islam, Christianity and Hinduism,” Vivek posted.
