Dharamsala, Sept 22: Two Tibetan refugees, including a woman, were killed and another critically injured in a blast near an army firing range in Leh district of frontier Ladakh region on Tuesday, PTI reported citing local police.
A woman named Yeshi Dolma and a man named Tashi Dhondup were killed immediately and another woman, Tsering Youdon was critically injured when some explosive substance went off near Army firing range, Mahy, located about 500 kms from Srinagar.
Officials said it was believed that the victims, who were residents of Choglamsar, had found some explosive substance at the firing range which exploded due to mishandling.
A case was registered at Nyoma police station.
