Dharamsala Jan. 05: The first-ever Bharatiya Janta Party-led saffron delegation has arrived in the Chinese capital on the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party.
The five-member team of BJP, RSS and Shiv Sena led by senior leader Balasaheb Apte is expected to enhance the understanding of “right wing” views by the political class in Beijing.
The visit, according to former Union Minister and MP, Suresh Prabhu who is a part of the delegation, will discuss “all issues, including Tibet”.
“We will discuss all issues including the Tibet question,” Prabhu told PTI.
The Chinese side has agreed to discuss “all contentious issues” during their meetings, delegation sources said as the two countries are continuing their negotiations to find a mutually acceptable solution to the vexed boundary issue.
Other members of the delegation are Rajya Sabha MP Chandan Mitra, RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav and Balbir Punj.
