Dharamshala, September 24 – The 5th World Parliamentarians’ Convention on Tibet has been postponed indefinitely. A press release issued today by the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile said, “…the fifth World Parliamentarians’ Convention on Tibet scheduled for October 20 to 21, 2008 in Paris, France has been postponed indefinitely due to the cancellation of the programs of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Europe around that time.”
“We offer deep apologies and regrets for the inconvenience caused to our friends and supporters. The next date of the convention is being worked out and it will be intimated to all concerned at the earliest.”
