Tashi Delek and Greetings from TYC!
Tibetan Youth Leadership Training (TYLT) is a youth development training program of the Tibetan Youth Congress which was formally initiated in the year 1991. The significance and importance of the TYLT can be measured from the 2004 TYC GBM which has unanimously passed a resolution for the inclusion of TYLT in the Annual Calendar Activity of the Central Executive Committee.
It provides a valuable training ground to increase the skills of grassroots student leaders and deepen their knowledge on community, issue-based organizing, Democratic values, Career Guidance, Tibet and International Politics. The training will empower the participating college students with the practical leadership skills necessary to become future leaders.
This year TYC is organizing the 8th Tibetan Youth Leadership Training for 80 college students from India, Nepal and Bhutan. Participants will be drawn from various regional TYC student chapters and Tibetan students who are studying in major universities and colleges in India.
The training program will be held in TCV Tibetan Youth Hostel, Rohini, New Delhi City from 22nd – 26th December 2007.
