Dharamsala, November 9: A Tibetan national living in the Leh region of Kashmir was reportedly found hanging in his kitchen yesterday morning.
The man has been identified by police as Lobezang Jampa, son of Dorjay Kyep resident of (II) T. R Ta Hihali Mundgod, Karnataka State. He was living in Dr. Nurboo Complex old Neama Gunj in Leh and was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his kitchen according to a media report.
Quoting a police spokesman as saying, the report stated that the autopsy of the body of the Tibetan national was conducted and the report is awaited.
The spokesman also reportedly said that an investigation had been launched by police to ascertain the nature of his death.
“In case, it was found that the Tibetan national has been murdered, police would form a team to investigate into it,” the report quoted the police spokesman as saying.
