His Holiness the Dalai Lama graces the closing ceremony of the long-life puja

Dharamsala, April 16 – His Holiness the Dalai Lama today arrived at 11:00AM at the main Tsuglag Khang courtyard to grace the closing ceremony of the Long-life Puja (religious prayer) offered to Him by eight Indian organisations on behalf of local Indian people of McLeod Ganj and Dharamsala that began here from yesterday morning.

As part of the two-day Puja for His Holiness’s long life; religious hymns for world peace were sung, over two thousand prayer lamps were lit up yesterday evening and fire puja was performed today in the presence of His Holiness.

Senior officials of the Central Tibetan Administration, members of the organising committee of the Puja and, hundreds of Tibetans, including foreign tourists and local Indians, participated in the Puja today.
