Bhopal, April 3 – Pro-Tibet activists took out a protest march here on Tuesday against the reported threat to the life of Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.
Reports galore in the media about a possible assassination attempt on the Dalai Lama by Pakistan based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
‘Mahatma Gandhi Tibet Freedom Movement’ activists accused China of being behind the threats. They shouted slogans against and burnt posters of Chinese President Hu Jintao.
“The Dalai Lama receiving a threat from the LeT is a solid proof that the threat has been issued at the behest of China because China feels directly threatened by the ever increasing popularity of the Dalai Lama across the globe. China is also scared of the popular opinion tilting in favour of Tibet. We condemn this act and appeal to the Indian government and the rest of the world to ensure the safety and security of his holiness the Dalai Lama,” said Mahesh Yadav, an activist.
The Dalai Lama has a three-ring security cover with the innermost guarded by special security persons of the Tibetan security department and the outermost by the Himachal Pradesh police.

Under the influence of China, Laskhar-e-Toiba has issued a life threat to H. H. Dalai Lama. – Dr.Mahesh Yadav
An appeal has been sent to the Prime Minister of India in a blood soaked letter written by Dr. Mahesh Yadav concerning security provided to H. H. Dalai Lama.
The Convener of MAHATMA GANDHI TIBET FREEDOM MOVEMENT, Dr. Mahesh Yadav, Peace Ambassadors – Ram Bansal, Amrish Patel, Siddhart Raj Bhatia, Ashwin Shakergayen, R.P.Dixit, Dr. Shailendra Rai Shrivastava, Raman Bhagat, Vakul Shukla, Santosh Bajpai, Sardar Sukhvinder Singh and others have condemned this threat in strong words and burnt posters of Chinese President Jintao and the Internationally Banned Terrorist Organization ‘Laskhar-e-Toiba.’ They have sincerely requested the Central Government to boost-up the security provided to H.H. Dalai Lama.
Dr Mahesh Yadav quoted, “The Noble Peace Laureate H.H. Dalai Lama is the hope for peace and non-voilence movements running across the world. And the life threat to Him issued by Laskhar-e-Toiba – under the influence of China – is a concern to the world peace and shows the dirty mentality and policies of the current Chinese rulers.”
Dr. Yadav said, “The global acceptance of His Holiness as an Angel of Peace, Humanity and Non-Violence and the world-wide support provided to him has scared China to the bones. Thus, they are supporting Terrorist Organizations to try to put a systematic end to the peace movements running in India and across the world. The proof of this is the use of weapons by the terrorists like AK-47, AK-56 etc. are China-made. China is also providing nuclear ammunition to countries that are themselves a threat to the world peace. If we still do not stop China, it could lead to the Third-World War.”
We cannot deny from the fact that if not stopped now, China will emerge as a leader of Terrorist Organizations and Countries supporting terrorism. So, its an appeal to the global community to come together to: SAVE TIBET, SAVE PEACE, SAVE HUMANITY.
