This national award-winning actress has acted in 185 films. The first section of the photo exhibition 1-73 is the photographer’s tribute to the Tibetan refugee community, its leader the Dalai Lama and its hosts: the people and the govt. of India. The second section 74-100 is based on two recent photo expeditions of Tibet undertaken by Mr. Vijay Kranti to document Tibetan life under Chinese occupation. The students will take part in a silent march in the morning from “Dignity of Labour ” statue to the “ Mahatma Gandhi” statue on the Marina beach. Two young Tibetans based in Chennai, Tenzin Kalden and Tenzin Samphel will be starting ‘Tibet Kitchen’ serving authentic Tibetan food for the first time in Chennai. They will serve free lunch to all the participants after the march.
