Helping Tibetans for 25 years

Paris, March 5 – A two-day celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Aide à l’enfance Tibétaine (AET) was graced by Kasur Jetsun Pema, Honorary Member of AET and the Chairperson of the Tibetan Children’s Village Executive Council. Also present were Irène Frain, writer and ambassador for AET, Jean-Claude Carrière and Arnaud Desjardins.

The event hosted a photo exhibition of François Frain and Tibetan calligraphy by Tenzin. Ani Chojni enchanted the crowd with her melodious dharma songs. Tshering Wangdu, a Tibetan artist based in France presented traditional Tibetan dances and songs. His students regaled the crowd with an energetic performances of snow lion and Yak dance. The evening concluded with a presentation of Tibetan dances by the cultural troupe of the Tibetan Community of France.
