Tibetan protestors takes shine away from Chinese Olympic football teams first game against Chelsea FC, London

The Tibetan protesters and Tibet supporters took the limelight during the half time interval highlighting the human right abuses and oppression of fellow Tibetans in their own country. They also brought the irony of Beijing 2008 Olympic which has been awarded to a country which has no regard to core values of Olympic games which is promotion of peace, respect and harmony amongst different nations and races.

They brought to the attention of the British public real face of China which is oppression and repression basic human rights of Tibetans and other ethnic minorities.

Tsering Dorjee, from TYUK said “China is desperate to present a positive image to the world and any protest that contradicts that image will highlight the growing atrocities and human right voilation in Tibet”.

The game is won by Chelsea FC one nil at Griffin Park stadium.
