Today is Monday. I don’t have to work because today is the holiday in honor of the American civil rights leader Dr.Martin Luther King. For this reason many government related offices are closed. Even I was given the day off. Others remembered his life and legacy.Dr.Kings work was basically to help African Americans to enjoy equal rights as white Americans. He gave many famous public speeches and one of them is he said, “I have a dream.”
I have a dream. Do I have a dream? Can I have a dream? If I do have a dream then that dream is to be able to return back to Tibet on to my mother’s lap once again. My dream is to return our leader His Holiness (Dalai Lama) and myself to Tibet. Is this my dream?
If I have a dream, it is to acquire Independence for Tibet. Based on the historical facts left behind by the King Suntsen Gompo, Tibetan Independence should be restored, “Chinese are happy in China.”
“Tibetans are happy in Tibet.” Chinese are unhappy in Tibet and Tibetans are unhappy in China. These are not only historical facts but also need to be impelemented. Is this my dream? If this is my dream then my fellow Tibetans, are you saying you don’t want Independence or are you saying you want to be united with the Chinese government. Now you should tell me. Do I have a dream?
Or, if I have a dream, it is to save Tibet from extinction due to giving up our Independence and peaceful unification with China. This is an emergency. This should be resolved in the next year. If we can’t achieve these within the couple of years then the Tibetan race will be broken in pieces until it disappears. It will vanish like a rainbow. For this reason, those Tibetan experts and Chinese must relate or compromise with China in peaceful means. Are we giving up every thing until there is nothing else to give? This is my dream. Provided this is my dream. It has been 28 years since its inception. Yet it has not accomplished any fruit of labor. Moreover, the fruitless results were increasing day by day. Now, do I have a dream?
Homage!
To my courageous, inspiring fellow Tibetans inside Tibet. To this day you haven’t let Tibetan race die. In the beginning using the booklet of Mao’s thoughts you gained freedom for the Tibetan language. Now, then you need to educate on nationality and don’t let Tibetan nationality to die. Because of your dedication and courage, the Tibetan race will survive another hundred years. However, did you understand my dream? According to my dream, you might pass away within a few years. According to my dream, you may not be able to protect Tibet. What kind of dream is this? Is it a daydream?
Who was responsible for me to not be allowed to have dream? Is this to do with China? I am sure this can’t be China. The Chinese control of my homeland wouldn’t stop my dream. The reason I don’t have a dream-is it our fault that made it happens? We are the reason the nation of Tibet and her people are never able to dream. We have discontinued dreaming of Independence. Our dream of Autonomy also turned into a daydream. That is how we ended up not having any dreams.
Hey! Look! At the end we were left without a dream. Our struggle is for the benefit of our Nation. Our struggle is for the benefit of Tibetan people. I called this my dream. What is it? Where is it? Please tell me.
Now, if I do have a dream. It must be resolved peacefully between Tibet and China. If it is resolved today then it does not matter if it turns into yogurt or to cream. In this way we must not let go off our determination for Tibet to go in the drain.
If my dream does come true- Tibetan leaders must help Tibetan people. Tibetan people are in Tibet. To observe their suffering and livelihood you must return to Tibet. If you are at a distance from Tibet how can you solve her problems? You must investigate into this situation.
If I have a dream. We must get rid of all these obstructions, which hold us backing regaining our Independence from China generation after generation. Must strive to be free from the Chinese rule in the next generation. Leaders in the government should not sit idle but must give encouragement, inspiration and hope for our people. They must show them direction with hope. If I have a dream. May the powerful red-faced mountain Ogress must take back and protect Tibet. The Independence of Tibet must be given to the Tibetan people. So this way, next year’s today, I presume I have a dream. May Tibet victorious!!!
