Dharamshala: The standing committee members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile meet to review the 2006-07 revised budget of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
Earlier the seven departments and offices of the CTA had by end of the October prepared their respective revised budget and submitt it to the Department of Finance (DoF).
The Kashag in turn presented it to the Tibetan Parliament for its approval.
Through the revised budget the departments can seek new and additional budget required for the activities for which fund sanctioned under the original budget is not sufficient.
The Tibetan legislative which is currently reviewing the revised budget will close its meeting on 30 November 2006.
