Paris: Hundreds of Tibetans and Tibet supporters gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Paris, to condemn the recent killing of Kalsang Nortso, a seventeen-year-old nun, and 20-year-old Kunsang Namgyal. They were joined by Mr. Jean-Marc Brulé, Green Party and local Chinese activists.
Mr. Brule called for an indepedent inquiry into the shootings.
Mr. Thupten Gyatso of Tibetan Community in France read a letter sent to French President Jacques Chirac before his trip to China calling on him to raise the issue of Tibet with his counterpart.
