Dreaming Lhasa was one of many films at the Films from the South Festival in Oslo, from 5th to the 15th of October.
The film has been screened three times during the festival and did attract a lot of people and they liked film very much.
Yesterday the tickets got sold out and several people didn’t even get tickets and it was the last day for screening of the Film “Dreaming Lhasa” Representative from the Film from South festival give short introduction and introduce Norwegian Tibet Committee.
Chungdak Koren from the Norwegian Tibet Committee gave a short presentation of the Film and on Tibet. Several people asked questions about Tibet and the situation there after watching the movie.
Among the audience were also a few Chinese scholars.
The film has increased awareness on the Tibetan issue among the Norwegian people in general.
