Kochi, July 4 : ‘Conlicts’, a one-day film festival, will be held here on July 6 to mark the ‘World Tibet Day’ and the 71st birthday of Dalai Lama.
The festival, being organised by Friends of Tibet, Design & People and Kashi, will screen both feature and documentary films on various conflicts at the Kashi Art Café, Fort Kochi.
The documentaries to be screened are ‘Conflicts: Tibet’, ‘Miles To Go’, ‘Naata: The Bond’, ‘Farenheit 9/11’, ‘She Write’ and ‘The Basque Ball: Skin Against The Stone’.
Feature film ‘Sandstorm’ also will be screened.
Describing the start of the Qinghai-Lhasa rail link as a “sad day for the Roof of the World,” the organisers said they will also hold a “Golmud-Lhasa Railway Cake Cutting Ceremony” on July 6.
