His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Depart for Belgium

Dharamshala, May 26 – His Holiness the Dalai Lama will depart Dharamshala for an extended visit to Belgium and Rekong Peo, Himachal Pradesh, on Sunday, 28 May.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be in Belgium for nine-days.

From 2 to 5 June, His Holiness will give teachings on Nagarjuna’s Treatise on the Middle Way. The translation will be provided in English, Flemish, French and German languages.

In the morning of 5 June His Holiness will confer Long Life Empowerment of Amitayus, the Buddha of Long Life. After that His Holiness will give a public talk on Interdependence and The Art of Well Being in Antwerp, Belgium.

His Holiness will then head for Rekong Peo in Himachal Pradesh where he will give teachings on the Abridged Stages of the Path (Lamrim Dudon) on 9 June and confer the Avalokiteshvera Initiation (Chenresig Kawang) on 10 and 11June.
