Tibetan Students Get Outstanding Class XII Results

Dharamshala, May 25 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class XII examination result on 23 May 2006. Out of 1,050 Tibetan students who appeared in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination held this March, 951 students have successfully passed the examination with overall pass percentage of 90.57%.

There are 82 compartment students who have to reappear in the failed subject in July and August.

The Central School for Tibetan (CST) Kalimpong, CST Paonta Sahib, CST Herbertpur and TNMF Clementown excelled in this year’s exam bagging 100 % result.

Tenzin Choedon of CST Bylakuppe topped the list among all the Tibetan students who appeared in the CBSE Exam with 91.4% in Humanities Stream. While Tenzin Rangdol of CST Mundgod with 85% was the Science topper and Tsering Youdon of SOS TCV Bylakuppe topped the commerce stream with 80.8%.
