New Delhi, May 23 – The Tibetan Parliamentary and Policy Research Centre (TPPRC), based in New Delhi, will organize its 5th Youth Leadership Training Program for college going students from 23 June to 1 July 2006 at Dharamsala.
The training will be imparted to students from 15 Universities, 3 from each. Students from Sarah and Sherab Gatseling school will also participate in the training program. Participating students will learn about the democratic set-up and policies of the Tibetan Government-in-exile and the functioning of all major institutions and organizations working towards preserving and propagating the political and cultural heritage of Tibet.
Unlike others, this workshop will provide its participants an opportunity to interact with the present leaders of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, major NGOs and a chance to visit all the departments of the Central Tibetan Administration, NGOs and institutions in and around Dharamsala.
