Today as we observe Martyr’s Day to commemorate the 8th anniversary of Martyr Thupten Ngodup, we salute all those known and unknown great men, women and children of Tibet for their selfless and supreme sacrifices for the freedom and Independence of Tibet.
Today while remembering Pawo Thupten Ngodup and all the Martyrs of Tibet who gave their precious life for Rangzen. We call upon every Tibetans to uphold their spirit and dignity by rededicating oneself to the true aspiration of our suffering brethrens in Tibet. The struggle for RANGZEN nevertheless remains the true aspiration and genuine will of the six million Tibetans and thus demands unwavering commitment and glorious sacrifices of highest order from every Tibetans to uphold the purpose and essence of this day.
The most alarming aspect of the intensification of patriotic re-education campaign, the brutal suppression of will and wishes of Tibetans, sinocization of Tibetan plateau and demographic transformation in Tibet reducing the Tibetans to an insignificant minority in their own country, all go to ascertain the vicious and age old Chinese mentality of middle kingdom and therefore determined to wipe out completely the culture, identity and nation that is TIBET.
On this occasion the most fitting gesture of remembering our Martyrs would definitely be the realization and observance of our duties towards accomplishing Free Tibet. Therefore let us reaffirm our responsibility and sacrifices that Rangzen beholds of us.
