Exmussoorie students sharing a social responsibility

In an era of uncontrolled destiny, lost parents, confused tracks and uncertain hopes, the act of giving a gift of “a home, a family and a winter vacation” to a few orphan and abandoned young Tibetan children from Tibetan schools in Mussoorie touched a compassionate nerve of the whole Tibetan society in exile. It generated hope, faith and responsibility in the exile Tibetan community. The organizers of this project “Exmussoorie students of Kathmandu, Nepal” hoped that such endeavors will lead to a multiplication of efforts where our own society will try to share a collective burden of our people in exile. Pioneering in such efforts, the executives of exmussoorie students, kathmandu chapter hoped that they will try to continue this initiative.

The little children’s bade farewell today to Kathmandu amidst a farewell luncheon. There were emotional bonds that could not go away with just a wave of hand. And some children were sad waving goodbyes. But as God gifted the innocence with hope, simple excitement, and open arms to the new days and fresh beginnings. The young children were soon playing with each other, showing each other their prized toys and talking about their journey. As the executive of exmussoorie waved goodbye to the children, the bus crossed and faded away into the horizons taking the young dreams into another journey. With sadness and an equal emotion of delight, the organizing members wished each other a job well done and in an strong emotion vowed to engage in such projects more.
