The Australia Tibet Council launched the campaign for a mass break-up with Google on Valentine’s Day protest this afternoon.
Zoe Bedford, Tibet supporter and jilted Google user, hands out leaflets to pedestrians walking across the bridge to Sydney’s Darling Park.
The protest is being staged outside Google’s Sydney headquarters at Darling Park – which, coincidentally, is also the site of MashUp’s global HQ.
Here we see Zoe and her fellow protester, Katie Camarena, holding the banner and the leaflets there are distributing to passers by.
They were the only two at the demo and they were matched by security types watching nearby.
Pro-Tibetan supporters are launching a campaign today for a boycott of Google because of its recent decision to censor information and links on its Chinese site.
