Dharamshala, January 31 – The Department of Education (DOE) of the Central Tibetan Administration is organising a workshop for primary school teachers on the use of low-cost teaching aids at the Eklavya Institute of Teachers Education, Ahmedabad.
The workshop started on 23 January and it will go on till 18 February. All the primary school teachers under the Tibetan Schools Administration were divided into two sections and participated in this workshop.
During the workshop, the participants got the opportunity to witness the primary school teachers’ teaching at the Eklavya Institute of Teachers Education.
The education officer of the DOE, Tsering Phuntsok visited the first section of the workshop and under-secretary Tenzin Choephel visited the second section of the workshop.
The Tibetan teachers participating in the workshop were taken on an education tour to Gandhiji’s Sabarmati Ashram and Akshardam sites of the area.
