Dharamshala, January 30 – This morning His Holiness the Dalai Lama departed for Pathankot to attend the event for commemoration of the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the chief guest at this event organised by the Prasthan Ashram, Pathankot. Other eminent guests are Mr. Yashpal Mitthal, president of the Prasthan Ashram, Mr. Vinod Khanna, MP of Pathankot, and other great followers of the Gandhi.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will return this afternoon. Kalon Tripa Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche will also join the function.
Yesterday, Kalon Tripa left for Pathankot to attend the centenary of Gandhiji’s book, Hind Swaraj, which was held to mark the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Kalon Tripa will be back on 3 Febuary.
