Kolkata November 26 – Friends of Tibet (India) will hold a Tibet evening in the great east-Indian city of Kolkata. Yaks, snow-lions, Tibetan gypsies and hosts of other Tibetan dancers and crooners will gather in Kolkata for a one evening Tibetan programme “Dances of the Yaks”. The event will take place at Sujata Sadan, Near Jatin Das par Metro Station tomorrow.
Besides all the music and dance, the programme will begin with a heart Wrenching film “Escape from Tibet”.
Popular Bengali film actress, model and painter Piu sarkar will Inaugurate the Tibetan dance and music extravaganza Kolkota.
The Tibet Evening will witness Gangjong Doeghar Dance troupe from Kalimpong descend to Kolkotta and do their usual magic by winning hearts of the audience with their dance and music. Do come and bring along your family and friends, or just inform those who can come for the Tibetan evening.
