Dharamshala October 13 – His Holiness the Dalai Lama donated fifteen lakh rupees in aid of quake victims in Pakistan and India, Voice of Tibet radio service reported. His Holiness has also sent a letter of condolence to Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharaf expressing his deep regret over the natural catastrophe that has struck Pakistan on October 8.
Mr. Tenzin Taklha of the Office of Tibet has confirmed the report.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama left for Nagpur via Mumbai this morning. His Holiness is scheduled to attend Buddhist conference organised by the International Network of Engaged Buddhists in Nagpur on October 15. His Holiness will also address a 20000 strong gathering on October 16 in Nagpur.
