BOISE – Some Idaho kids may get a chance to meet the Dalai Lama next month.
The exiled Tibetan monk will be in Sun Valley from September 11th to September 15th for a series of public and private events.
Sandra Cavanaugh, one of the event planners, says the Dalai Lama will dedicate September 12th as a day for kids.
Idaho children get a chance to be part of the day by writing an essay or by being recognized for acts of compassion in a program offered through Governor Dirk Kempthorne’s office.
