Dharamshala June 27 – The Public Service Commission went ahead with its exams for the post of office superintendent and section head on Saturday despite reports in the Bhod kis Dusbab (Tibet Times) of leakage of interview questions of the exams for the post of under secretary.

The exams for the post of under secretary which concluded earlier this month was speculated as being unfair and unjust as some candidates knew the questions of the interview before the exams.

A candidate who requested anonymity said that he had heard that the English question paper would be of seven pages and similar to toefl (test of English as foreign language) format and that he was astonished as it really turned out to be so.

Another candidate says that the matter should be probed into and there should be re-examination. “This is a serious issue as the credibility of the Tibetan exile government is at stake.” He questions, “What influence will it have on the future aspirants of Tibetan government service?”

There are many candidates who are waiting for a reaction to the report in Bhod ki Dusbab from the exile Tibetan government which till now has not commented on the issue.

“I want to go home to see my parents but I can’t leave as there may be re-examination should an investigation into the matter bring out the truth”, adds Dhondup (name changed on request) who graduated last year.
