Stockholm, Sweden June 6 – A lone man has started a journey to show his solidarity to the Tibetan people and their cause. Christer Cederlöf started on foot from Stockholm, the Swedish capital, for Gothenberg which is 750 kilometres from Stockholm. Cederlöf is expected to reach Gothenberg on 12 June before His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrives in Sweden.
According to Rinchen Lhamo, a Tibetan resident of Sweden, Cederlöf puts up tent for overnight halts and walks in the day. A few news reports on his walk have appeared in the local newspapers. “There are many people here who support Cederlöf’s initiative,”Lhamo said in a letter sent here.
