Statement
Tibet is not an ordinary neighbor of India but was acting as a buffer state between China and India. Unfortunately in 1950 China attacked Tibet and forcefully became the neighbor of India. China basically followed a policy of annexation of neighbors including Manchuria, East Turkisthan, Inner Mongolia and now Tibet. There is no doubt that as long as Tibet is under Chinese occupation, India is not safe. For India, China is more dangerous then Pakistan. China is systematically destroying Tibet’s religion, Culture and language. They wanted to reduce the Tibetans to minority in their own country.
India and Tibet are bound by cultural and historic relationship. Therefore, to support Tibet’s independence is not only our moral right but also necessary for our national interest. Indian government must include the issue of Tibet in its agenda whenever dialogue with the Chinese takes place.
Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch is creating public awareness during the past five years on these questions. Branch offices of the Manch are established and active in almost all states of India, such as Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Delhi, Ladakh, Uttranchal, Utter Pradesh, Jarkhand, Sikkim etc.
Arunanchal Pradesh is the land of Mahatma Buddha, Bhagwan Parshuram and Dono Polo. China has set its dragon eyes on it. People of Arunanchal Pradesh will not only give a befitting reply but will also contribute for the independence of Tibet.
For the security of Himalaya, without an independent Tibet the independence of India remains incomplete.
Bharat Tibbat Sahyog Manch will continuously launch public awareness campaign in the entire Himalayan region from Ladakh to Tawang.
