Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh), February 6 – Tashi Yangchen, Miss Tibet 2004, is all set to leave for Zimbabwe for the Miss Tourism World 2005 contest.
Lobsang Wangyal, producer-director of the Miss Tibet pageant, said Tashi was preparing herself to embark on the Feb 12-27 trip to Victoria Falls, where participants from 80 countries will converge.
Tashi, who won the Miss Tibet crown in October, said: “I am thrilled to participate in the Miss Tourism World 2005. Now I have to mentally prepare myself for the big event.”
