Dharamshala, December 10 – Tibetan Community on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights today condemned the continuation of the Human Rights violation by the Chinese Authorities.
The Tibetan Regional Youth Congress (TRYC) spokesman said here that violation of Human Rights in Tibet was painful and condemnable.
He said that the day also marked an occasion for Tibetans to commemorate as ”Nobel Peace Prize Day” when the nobel peace prize committee recognised the land mark contribution made by Tibetan temporal head and Spiritual leader Dalai Lama for world peace and harmony but ironically the world community has failed to censure China for its deteriorating Human Rights record.
The Spokesman said that more than a decade after the formation of the UNHCHR and the solemn commitments of the Vienna Declaration and program for action, the Univesality of Human Rights remains formal rather than real in tibet.
