Tibetans and supporters in Toronto, Canada gathered at the Chinese Consulate for a candlelight vigil this weekend and will continue every weekend evening until December 10, International Human Rights Day, when a demonstration will also be held at the Chinese Consulate. The aim is to help raise awareness and stop the execution of Tibetan religious leader Tenzin Deleg Rinpoche, who could be executed as early as December 2, 2004.
When: Saturdays and Sundays Nov. 13, 14, 20,21,27, 28, Dec. 3 and 4. 4pm-6pm
Friday Dec 10, International Human Rights Day, 2pm-5pm
