34 Tibetans held at Nepal-India border

Police on Saturday arrested 34 Tibetans in Tegari of Kailali district for entering Nepal without legal documents.

News reports said the Tibetans were trying to enter the Indian state of Uttaranchal via Nepal to meet their exiled religious leader, Dalai Lama.

The group also consists of women and children. Reports said local authorities have not made clear what action will be taken against the Tibetan migrants.
