Nepalese Border Police Handover Tibetan Refugee to Chinese Authority

Kathmandu, April 29 – Two Tibetans from Kham Nyarong district were escaping into Nepal and they were spotted by Nepalese border guards. Preferring to die than being handed over to Chinese authorities, both of them jumped into the river. One was able to escape, but Sonam Wangchen, 23, was caught and handed over to Chinese authorities. The one who escaped has safely arrived in Katmandu.
