More than 30 people from all ages attended this prayer session which lasted more than 2hrs. Seven weeks into the TYC unto death hunger strike in Delhi six years ago, Pawo Thupten Ngodup la, a 60-year-old who had volunteered to be part of a second batch of hunger strikers doused himself with gasoline and lit himself on fire. He shouted “Bod Gyal lo” or “Victory to Tibet”. Others heard him saying “Bod Rangzen”, or “Independence for Tibet.” He also shouted “Long live His Holiness the Dalai Lama”. A true hero, he will always be remembered for his patriotism and sacrifice. Gob bless his soul.

Rangzen is never faraway, it is achieveable, we must fight for it.

Bhoed Gyalo!
