This is the last day of our cycle rally from Vijayawada to Hyderabad.
We halted our 6th-day night at the green lodge where many of the Tibetan sweater sellers are residing. We are very grateful to them for they provided us with a delicious dinner.
Around six next morning, We were ready with all the proceedings for the day. After prayers for almost fifteen minutes, we had a light breakfast since we have to go cycling round the city to create awareness among our brothers.
We planned to reach at Sundarayya Vignan Kendram(Mini hall) where our closing ceremony will be held. We got near the gate of the hall around nine and then, it took us another 40 minutes to decorate the hall since it should look superb. All the RTYC members of Hyderabad had already arrived, to assist us with the arrangements.
We felt a complete silence when the chief guest of the day’s function, Mr.C.Anjeneya Reddy (I.P.S), the Chairman and Managing director of A.P Tourism, walked inside the hall followed by our Guest of Honour for the day, Mr.S.Veeranarayana Reddy (Retd I.G of police).
The function began at 11 am exactly. Some supporters like Professor Rajesh, Professor Hara Gopal.G and Ms Madhuvanti(Times of India)and Mr Lobsang Yeshi la came all the way from Bangalore to address the function(TYC Centrex) and about 15 press persons from various papers, journals, and T.V, reporters made their presence felt amongst us.
Speeches from the chief guest, guest of honour and Mr Lobsang Yeshi la were so touching that the audience left no stone unturned in applauding them. In between their speeches, we sang some of the patroitic songs to inculcate feelings in those gathered here for the day, for our nation. The function concluded, at around 1:30pm, with the Tibetan national anthem and the Indian national anthem and then a word of thanks from our president, Mr Yeshi Dakpa la. We are sad that some of the press persons arrived late for the function. But the students there had definitely felt great pleasure and satisfaction since the mission of our cycle rally has proved fruitful.
But all this success goes to the following people who has given their valuable time to us inspite of their busy schedule.
- Mr C.Anjeneya Reddy. We lack words when we wish to express our deep gratitude to him who has given us so much of help and support during this rally.
- Mr.S.Veeranarayana Reddy has been very kind and gave us a lot of guidance throughout the rally.
- Mrs Asha Reddy came all the way from Chennia to Vijayawada to help in the planning and coordination of the rally and she is responsible for the press arrangement and that of food and accomodation in all the places we stopped. Our opening and closing ceremony wouldn’t have been so successful if she was not with us.
- RTYC of Hyderabad has been working closely with us and helped make this rally a success.
- Mr Surya Prakash Rao, Mr Subramaniam, Mr Vishwanath and Mr. Vali gave us all possible help at Vijayawada.
- Mr Manohar and Mr Sridhar generously helped at Warrangal.
- Mr srinivasa Reddy (BJP) at Jangaon provided accomodation and MR Ramanli REddy kindly helped at Yadagri Gutta.
- All the Indian brothers supported us on our way.
We are deeply thankful to you all for your firm support and inspiratiopn throughout the rally.
