As we have informed earlier, after their arrival in France for the first time, the junior Tibetan football team has been invited to play with their
equivalent team in Monaco on 15th November. The result was 3 to 2 in favour of Monaco. The Hereditary Prince of Monaco, Prince Albert graced the event by attending the match and also he presented greeting to every player and staff. On 19th November, the Tibetans played in Auriol and won by 4 to 1. They were host to a special reception organised by the Mayoral authority of Auriol.On 23rd November at La Martine stadium in Marseille, the the Tibetan team won by 5 to 0.
On 25th November, various events are being organised in Marseille to highlight the Tibet issue as well such as film projection, lecture of the development of Tibetan sports, and tibetan dinner will be offered to the participants.
On 29th November, the Tibetan team will play their last match in Dijon which will be followed by the film projection, and other cultural and culinary events on Tibet.
On 1st December in the early morning, the entire staff and players of the Junior Team return to Dharamsala, India.
This first ever visit to France of the junior team has also been a media event in their respective regions with wide media coverages.
