Harmony in Diversity,” a 50-minute video of the Dalai Lama speaking at New York City’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine, will be shown at 7 p.m. today in the sanctuary of Unity Church of Fayetteville, 4880 Wedington Drive.
A recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize and the exiled leader of Tibet, the Dalai Lama addresses ways in which people can build peaceful communities, more deeply nurture children and shift from conflict and violence to a world of lasting peace.
The video will be followed by a guided Buddhist meditation and an open discussion about how people can to continue “to move from conflict to compassion” in their lives. This is the second in a series of three video evenings focusing on inner peace, which everyone is welcome to attend.
