Tokyo, April 9 – The visiting Dalai Lama on Saturday reiterated his view that he would like to see a high degree of autonomy for Tibet, Japanese lawmakers said.
The exiled spiritual leader of Tibet, who arrived Friday in Japan, made the point in a meeting with Seishu Makino, a House of Representatives member of the Democratic Party of Japan who heads a group of lawmakers interested in Tibetan issues, and six other lawmakers.
