New Delhi, April 06 – “A journey in the world of the Dalai Lama”- a film on the lifestyle of the exiled Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama was screened in the national capital today. The Lama was also present on the occasion.
The film depicts the journey of Dalai Lama, who lost his own country at the age of twenty-four in 1959.
“I appreciated all the people who work for this film, this film makes clarification on Tibet issue and also spread the massage of Budhha”, said Dalai Lama.
Film Director Goutam Ghose has made this film. The film captures the Dalai Lama on his worldwide tours-including Europe and records the Dalai Lama’s interaction with his followers at Dharmasala. Beautiful shots of Tibet, interspersed with accounts from the locals, give the film an essential ethnic look and feel.
“We are born to die and during the birth only truth is determined, death, why can’t we make our life happy and peace full between birth and death, with this question in my mind I have made this film”, said Goutam Ghose, director.
He calls upon his followers not to expect any miracle from him, as he is an ordinary man, who can only share sufferings with fellow human beings.
A hit with audiences at the Venice International Film Festival this past September, Goutam Ghose’s new film gives its viewers an intimate experience in the company of the Dalai Lama.
