A candle lights rally in Paris for the immediate release of the Ven Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche

Paris, January 14 – Tibetan Community of France in coordination with some French Tibet Support groups staged a rally of the candle lights near the Chinese Ambassy in Paris, for the release of Ven Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, who has been sentenced to the death penalty by Chinese authority for his social service contributing works in Tibet.

The purpose of the demonstration is to demand on the Chinese government to free Ven Tenzin Delek Rinpoche immediately along with The 11the reincarnation of the Panchen Rinpoche who is recognised by the His Holiness the Dalai Lama accordingly tibetan traditional religion procedure, and with all the Tibetans freedom fighters.

China is reminded to respect its international legal obligantion vis à vis of Tibet and chinese authorities should resume a true effective talks with the representatives of the His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government in exile on the future of Tibet.

The reality for the six millions of Tibetans who are under the Chinese imperial rule in Tibet is always in a climate of terror and the repression against the tibetan people who are only demanding their rights of self rule for the Tibet under the international law, which is a legal garantee assured by the UN Charter for every people around the world but until now chinese reaction has been ruthless regading tibetan issue.

Despite of some UN’s General Assembly resolutions on Tibet calling on Chinese government to respect the Tibetan people’s fondamental rights to self-determination on their future, but the China continues to violate of tibetan civil and political rights in Tibet.

As far as Tibet will not achieve a free Tibet solution, Tibetan freedom struggle will continue till a mutually acceptable solution will not found.
The gathering is also marked by the recent Tsunami’s natural disaster which took away thousands of human lives, so all participats to the rally were asked to observe a moment of silence at the request of the President of Tibetan community of France in order to show our solidarity to the victimes en general who are belong to our same humanity.

All the Tibetan community members performed a collective prayers in the name of those victimes of Tsunami and as well as for all our tibetan compatriots who are died under chinese occupation since 1959.

The demonstration is ended peacefully with a long life prayer dedicated to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and for the common goodness of the collective karma of tibetan people as a whole.
