The RTYC, Baroda has once again organized the project called “Glimpse of Tibet” in Ahmedabad for two days, i.e., 20th and 21st of Dec. 2004. The project was started with a speech from the president giving the introduction of the project and the Tibetan culture. It was followed by the cultural programme of Tibetan songs and dances. The cultural programme was concluded with a brief speech from the president of Tibetan sweater seller market of Ahmedabad on the idea that “we are none other than Tibetan”. There after, all the exhibition were left open for the Indian masses till nine oclock in the night.
For the whole day there was good number of people coming to the exhibition and getting themselves informed about Tibet culturally, historically, politically and religiously. Signature campaigns for Tulku Tenzin Delek and Panchan Lama was also made along the exhibition. Then in the evening by six oclock documentaries were screened for interested Indians till nine in the night.
For the second day, after the cultural programme in the morning, the chief guest Mr. Sandeep Joytikar (advocate, convener of Indo-friendship society) had given an encouraging speech on the fact that “Tibet’s independence is India’s security”. Then the rest of the day exhibitions were kept open and the attention from Indian people and presses is much better than the previous day. Finally the project was ended successfully and joyfully at half past nine in the night with a Tibetan gorshe from all the Tibetan students working for the project.

- Exhibition of religious artifacts
- Tibetan arts (Thangka painting)
- Books cum photo exhibition
- Movies on Tibet
- Information center
- Tibetan products
Objectives:
- The main objective of organizing this project is to create awareness among the Indian masses and to generate their support in solving the issue of Tibet.
- To preserve Tibetan culture and religion.
- To strengthen the spirit of freedom struggle among Tibetan.
- To motivate our Tibetan students or youth towards our freedom struggle by allocating different responsibilities to each individual.
The same project was held in Baroda,Gujarat on 15th and 16th of Dec. 2004. The project in both the places went successful.
