From 2-5th June 2004
The Tibetan Women’s Association (TWA) is organizing a Four-Day Leadership Training for Tibetan women in exile in the TWO Community Center, Mcleod Ganj, Dharamsala. The objective of this training is to empower Tibetan women in exile.
Initially, our target population was women with leadership potentials from the departments of Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), Non-Government Organizations (NGO) and Institutions. However, due to some technical problems, the CTA staff members could not avail this opportunity. Therefore, now the training participants are lady staff members of Institutions, NGOs and some college students and fresh college graduates.
The topics to be covered during this training are different styles of leadership, practicing working as a team, and power sharing and confidence building.
