Dharamsala, February 12 – At the wee hour of the second day, the freedom marchers woke up to a new day with rejuvenated zeal and enlivened commitment to carry forward their sacred and crucial mission, after the unprecedented disruption from the local authorities that flared the emotion and the die-hard spirit of the marchers and the local Tibetans alike.
The day began with the invocation prayers followed by breakfast serve by the College of Buddhist Dialectics, Sarah. The marchers then assembled to sing Tibetan National Anthem and Revolutionary Song (Long-shoe). Later, the marchers were seen off with greetings by the Sarah family. Raising slogans and chanting prayers, the marchers proceed towards Kangra where they were warmly received by the local Tibetans and RSS chapter. The marchers were treated to tea and snacks and later addressed by Mr. Rajesh, activist of RSS. In his speech, Mr. Rajesh condemned lathi charge detention of the peaceful marchers by the local police and bolstered the spirit of the marchers to prepare for even worse adversities in their freedom struggle. The march was halted at Daulatpur covering over 20 km for the day.
