This 14th North America Regional Tibetan Youth Congress Working Committee Meeting was convened by Regional Tibetan Youth Congress chapter of Wisconsin.
The TYC is the largest non-governmental organization of the Tibetan Diaspora with independence as its goal, a position that is contrary to the Tibetan government in exile’s stand of genuine autonomy for Tibet within the PRC. The Chinese propaganda machinery often refers to the TYC as a “terrorist organization”.
