DHARAMSHALA, July 26: Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama is scheduled to take part in an interactive session with spiritual leader and head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Rev. Dada JP Vaswani, hosted by popular Indian actor Aamir Khan on Sunday July 28 in Pune.
The interactive session titled ‘Ru-ba-ru Roshni’ will mark the inaugural event of the six-day long 95th birthday celebrations of Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani.

Born on August 2, 1918, at Hyderabad, Sindh, now in Pakistan, Dada Vaswani is a scientist by training but later gave up a career in academics to follow in the spiritual footsteps of his illustrious uncle and Guru, Sadhu T. L. Vaswani.
A forceful advocate and living example of positive pragmatism, Dada Vaswani “lives a simple, humble life mixing with the common man, with the singular objective of helping him progress on the pathway of life.”
A powerful orator, he has spoken at numerous venues including the British House of Commons in London, the Global Forum of Spiritual Leaders in Oxford, the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, and the Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders at the United Nations in New York. He is the recipient of the U Thant Peace Award and has written about 75 books, translated into many languages.
For the past couple of weeks, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been on an extensive visit to the three largest Tibetans settlements of Bylakuppe, Hunsur, and Mundgod in the south Indian state of Karnataka. The 78-year-old Tibetan spiritual leader gave teachings, took part in religious ceremonies, and also spoke to the general Tibetan populace during the visit.
According to his private office, the Dalai Lama is scheduled to give two-and-a-half-day teachings on Tsongkhapa’s Concise Treatises on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dudon) and An Overview of Tantra from Tsongkhapa’s Stages of the Path of Mantrayana (ngakrim chenmo chishe) at the request of a group of Koreans at the Tsug-la Khang, the main temple in Dharamshala from August 25-27.
